With the Fenix E-Star, self powered, hand crank flashlights take a functional giant leap forward. The E-Star can be used with it’s included rechargeable NiMh AA battery, which can be charged by an included USB C charging port (yay!), or via the hand crank – which means steady, reliable output when the battery has power. Standard AA batteries (alkaline) can also be used to power the light (but not recharged). Additionally, the E-Star can be used without batteries, via input on the hand crank (requires one hand only, and need not be continually pressed) – providing assurance that even if everything goes wrong, you’ll still have light source.
Highly recommended for all emergency kits, vehicle kits, bug out bags, ditch bags, and around the house, cottage, or camp.
