- 1.3 mm is the minimum size that will work reliably in our Lineloc V Guy Line Adjusters. It is an excellent choice for stuff sack draw cords, stake cords, and ultralight fixed length guy-lines. Two passes will fit in our Tiny Cord Locks.
- 1.6 mm is the “Goldilocks” size which fits our Lineloc V Guy Line Adjusters, holds tight in high wind, and is less fidgety or tangly than 1.3 mm. This size cord is standard on all Zpacks tents and tarps as of 2026. Two passes will fit in Mini Cord Locks.
- 2.0 mm has even better holding strength in Lineloc V’s, and will also work with common “Lineloc 3” guy line adjusters found on competitor’s tents. This diameter works well for lashing items on the sides and base of our backpacks. Two passes will fit in Mini Cord Locks.
