  • Our 2.35 oz/sqyd Octa® Fleece offers exceptional warmth at an incredibly low weight, making it an advanced alternative to traditional fleece. Octa® filament has an octopus-like cross-section with 8 projections, which create air gaps that enhance heat shielding and insulation properties. That unique fiber structure makes Octa® fabrics roughly 50% lighter than regular polyester materials of similar thickness.
  • Octa fleece has excellent air permeability, allowing you to breath through the fabric easily. Pull the neck gaiter over your face to cut the windchill when doing a snowy ascent, or pull it down around your neck or up around your ears on chilly mornings and evenings.

  • Use in head band mode to keep your hair our of your eyes.

  • The interior of the Octa® features a fluffy, next-to-skin, brushed surface that traps air to keep you comfy and warm.

  • The mesh exterior is abrasion-resistant, providing better durability than other ultralight fleece options. It also doesn’t collect crud like other fleece that is fuzzy on the outside.

  • Elastic at the hems help trap heat and keep the gaiter in place.
